Could you elaborate on which specific cable and plug connections you are referring to? I want to be thorough, and guidance on the location of these components would be greatly appreciated.

I can't remember exactly which one it was, sorry, but I'm pretty sure the fault code pointed the mechanic toward the issue pretty quickly. If you're not super comfortable poking around the fuel system, I'd advise getting it checked out by a professional. Will likely save you some headaches. Mine ended up being a loose connection; quick fix, but tricky to diagnose without the right tools.

I appreciate the advice. I will schedule an appointment with my trusted workshop. It is reassuring to know that a faulty connection may be the culprit. The error code does indeed point towards defective plug connection. The invoice came out to 95€ so very lucky. Thank you again for sharing your experience; it has been immensely helpful.

Interesting. I had similar symptoms with my Captur. It sounds like the fuel issue I had. Check engine light, rough idle... Turned out to be a dodgy connection. Have you checked the cable and plug connections to all the fuel-related components?
