Captur exhaust flap error

My 2023 Renault Captur hybrid is throwing an error related to the exhaust flaps. Mileage is at 229110 km. The exhaust is louder than usual, especially after a cold start where the engine sounds really noisy. I suspect the exhaust flap itself might be defective. Anyone else had this?

I had a similar issue with my Captur, though not the hybrid version. Louder exhaust and a general feeling of sluggish engine performance? Could be exhaust blockage messing with backpressure.

Yeah, exactly that. Sluggish is a good word for it. Did you also have an error code stored? Was it definitely the exhaust flaps?

Yep, error code city! Turned out to be the exhaust valves. I wouldn't mess with it too much yourself. I ended up taking mine to a workshop.

Cheers for the insight. I'll get it booked in. It's probably better to get it sorted by a professional. Seems the flaps are defective, estimated repair cost 190€.
