Captur Headlight Range Control Fault
Summary of the thread
A 2018 Renault Captur diesel is experiencing a headlight range control fault, with a warning light on and misaligned low beams. The issue persists despite checking the lighting system, control module, headlight switch, and connectors. A similar case was resolved by replacing a defective servomotor, which was confirmed as the cause of the problem. A workshop visit is recommended for an effective solution.

Thanks! Were your symptoms identical? Did you try any troubleshooting before deciding it was the servomotor?

Yes, same symptoms. Honestly, I just took it straight to a workshop. Saved myself the headache.

Understood. A workshop visit seems best. Thanks for sharing your experience! It was exactly what you suggested, the servomotor. The repair cost 1040€.

I had a similar problem with my Captur. Are you sure it's not just a defective servomotor in the headlight?
