Captur Headlight Washer Problem
Summary of the thread
The headlight cleaning system and windshield washer on a 2021 Renault Captur were not functioning. The issue was initially suspected to be a faulty pump or a relay problem with the Xenon lights. After further discussion, it was suggested that the problem might be electrical, possibly a damaged cable connection. Upon taking the vehicle to a workshop, it was confirmed that the cable connection to the pump was defective, and the issue was resolved.

No, there's absolutely no sound when I try to use either the headlight or windshield washer. If it was a blockage, wouldn't at least one of them still work? Could it be the cable connection of the pump that's defective or a relay?

Right, no noise points more towards electrical. A damaged cable could be the culprit. Best bet? Get it checked at a workshop, those electrical gremlins are a nightmare. They'll diagnose it properly.

You were spot on! I took it to a local workshop. Turns out it was indeed the cable connection to the pump. Repair cost me 165€ with parts and labor. Thanks for the help and advice!

Sounds familiar. I also own a Captur. Had a similar issue with the system. Does it make any noise when you try to activate it? Could be the pump motor itself, or perhaps a blockage in the lines.
