Captur Hybrid Overheating Error

I've got a 2023 Renault Captur hybrid with 121174 km on the clock. Recently, I've been getting an error stored in the error memory, along with the engine overheating. Diagnostics point to a bypass valve malfunction. I suspect it's a consequential error stemming from something else. Has anyone experienced similar issues?

I drive a Captur hybrid as well. I recall encountering similar symptoms – error codes related to the exhaust system and some engine overheating. Has it impacted your fuel efficiency or caused any noticeable power loss?

Thanks for the quick response. Yes, I've definitely noticed a drop in fuel efficiency, and there's a slight hesitation during acceleration. Did the bypass valve replacement solve the issue for you, or was there something else involved? Also, do you have any tips for troubleshooting?

In my case, the bypass valve malfunction was indeed a consequence of a different underlying problem. Given your symptoms and the error code, I'd strongly recommend a thorough check-up at a workshop instead of just replacing the valve. It could save you time and money in the long run.

Appreciate the advice. I took it to the shop, and you were spot on. The bypass valve issue was indeed a symptom of a larger problem (a blocked fuel injector). The valve itself was fine. Repair cost was 0€ under warranty. Thanks again!
