Captur key battery warning

Hey, I've got a 2014 Renault Captur with a gasoline engine and I'm getting a 'key battery low' warning. The keyless access has stopped working, there's an error stored in the memory, and sometimes it struggles to lock or unlock. Could it really just be the battery?

I get the same error in my Captur. Is it constant or sometimes? Did you try to read the error code?

It's pretty constant now, wasn't before though. I did read the error code, it confirms low battery. I already changed it, but nothing...

Ah I see. I had exactly the same symptoms - new battery and it was all fine again. Weird that the error is still there. You probably have to go to the workshop as it could be something different.

Went to the workshop for diagnostics. Indeed the car key low battery was the issue. Cost me 37€ to resolve that! Thanks for the help!
