Captur Microphone Failure

My 2020 Renault Captur diesel's hands-free microphone has completely died. I can't make calls, and the system's throwing an error. I've tried everything, but nothing works. Anyone else experienced this?

Sounds familiar. I had something similar with my Captur. Telephony was dead. Did the error memory show anything specific? Have you tried playing around with the infotainment system settings? Is it possible that the microphone is muted somehow?

Yeah, same symptoms, same frustration. Error memory pointed to the infotainment system. Took it to a workshop, and they confirmed the whole infotainment system was bad. They quoted me 815€ for a new one. Take it to a professional; sounds like you're past DIY territory.

That's what I was afraid of... The diagnosis confirmed that the infotainment system was indeed defective. I ended up paying 815€ for the repair. Now everything is working like new. Thanks again for your help!
