Captur radio reception issue
Summary of the thread
A 2022 Renault Captur Hybrid owner reported a persistent issue with poor radio reception and an error message on the infotainment system. Suspecting a defective antenna, the problem was confirmed through an error memory read. A suggestion was made to check the antenna ground connection, but due to the owner's lack of experience with vehicle electronics, it was advised to seek professional help. The issue was resolved at a workshop, confirming the antenna as the source of the problem.

Thanks for the quick reply! The error is pretty constant. Where exactly is the antenna ground located? Is it easy to check myself, or should I leave it to a professional? I'm not very experienced with car radio issues.

Given that the error is constant and you're not familiar with vehicle electronics, I'd suggest taking it to a workshop. It could be a simple antenna ground issue, but it could also be something more complex with the signal amplifier. Save yourself the frustration.

Appreciate the advice. I took it to the shop, and you were right – it was the antenna. The repair cost was 255€. Thanks for pointing me in the right direction!

I had a similar problem with my Captur. Is the error constant, or does it come and go? Have you checked the antenna ground connection? Radio interference can be a pain with these newer vehicle electronics.
