I didn't do it myself. I had the same symptoms and took it to the workshop. They said the sensor was faulty. Luckily, the new sensor and installation weren't too expensive.

Thanks for the help. I'm taking it to a workshop for a diagnosis and sensor replacement. The repair should be around 95€.

I had a similar heating problem with my Captur. Check the sensor calibration. Mine was slightly off after a windshield replacement. Worth a look before you get into wiring.
