Caravan Washer Fluid Low Warning
Summary of the thread
The issue with the 2011 Nissan Caravan was a 'washer fluid low' warning and a non-functioning windshield washer system. The problem was initially suspected to be due to a low wiper water level, a blocked line, or a faulty sensor. After refilling the windshield washer reservoir, the system began working again, and the error was resolved, indicating that the low fluid level was the core issue.

The dashboard light illuminates immediately. Is there a recommended way to inspect or clean the spray jets without causing damage?

Immediate light usually points to a sensor issue or a blocked line. Check if the jets are visibly gunked up. Use a needle or thin wire to gently clear any blockage. If that doesn't work, it might be a deeper issue within the reservoir or pump. I'd suggest a workshop at that point. They'll have the tools to diagnose it properly and clear blockages or replace faulty parts. Could be a faulty sensor, too.

I took it to a local workshop; the wiper water level was very low. After refilling the windshield washer reservoir, it works, and the error cleared. The repair cost was 25€. Thanks!

I've got a Nissan Caravan myself. I had a similar problem a while back. Does the dashboard light come on immediately when you start the car, or does it take a little while? Have you checked the spray jets themselves? They might be clogged.
