Cavalier Blower Motor Issue
Summary of the thread
A 2004 Chevy Cavalier's blower motor isn't functioning, despite the fuses and relays being intact. The issue might be linked to the AUC sensor, which controls HVAC recirculation, or possibly a defective cable or plug connection. A similar problem in another vehicle was resolved by identifying a faulty sensor through a diagnostic scan. It is suggested to perform a diagnostic scan and consult a workshop for a precise solution.
Did this summary help you solve your problem?

Are you talking about an error code just for the AUC sensor, or a general HVAC error? I haven't scanned it yet, hoping to avoid that if it's a common problem. I wanted to check the easy stuff first before using the diagnostic tools.

Sorry, I should have been clearer. It was a general HVAC error code that pointed the tech to the faulty sensor. Since the symptoms are alike, and the AUC sensor can affect the blower, it might be worth checking. A workshop found my problem pretty fast.

Thanks! Based on your experience, I'll get a diagnostic scan and probably take it to a workshop. I appreciate the help. The repair was 95€, and it was a defective cable or plug connection. Hopefully, that helps someone else.

I had a similar problem with my 2012 Fiat Punto. The blower wasn't working, and it turned out to be a sensor issue affecting the HVAC system. Did you get any error code when you scanned the car's computer?
