Cavalier massage seat failure
Summary of the thread
The massage function on a 2002 Chevy Cavalier's driver's seat stopped working, with a diagnostic tool indicating a communication fault with the seat control module. The issue might be related to a cable or plug connection. A similar problem was resolved by checking connections under the seat, but ultimately, taking the car to a workshop was recommended to avoid unnecessary hassle.

Thanks for the reply! The error code pointed to a communication fault with the seat control module, so it does seem fairly specific. Did yours throw the same code? What did you end up doing to fix it?

Yeah, that sounds pretty similar. Mine also pointed to a communication error. Honestly, after checking the easily accessible connections under the seat, I just gave up and took it to a workshop. Saved myself a lot of headache.

Appreciate the info! Sounds like chasing wires might not be worth the effort. I'll probably bite the bullet and take it to a shop. They quoted me about 95€ to fix the cable or plug connection. Thanks again!

Hey, I had a similar problem with the massage seat in my Cavalier. Was the error code specific, or just a general 'seat malfunction' type of thing? I'm wondering if it's the same issue I encountered.
