Cavalier Sporadic Errors

My 2004 Chevrolet Cavalier with a gasoline engine is throwing sporadic errors. The driving mode acts up, error lights flicker, and sometimes the audio or navigation just dies. Control units become unresponsive temporarily and the error memory has codes stored. Mileage is at 57199 km. Any ideas?

After a lot of diagnostics, the mechanic found the cable connection to the main ECU defective. It was impacting the whole BUS communication, causing all sorts of weirdness. I'd recommend getting it scanned with a proper tool, but honestly, it might be worth taking it to a trusted workshop. It ended up costing me around 155€ to fix.
