Ccrosser diesel engine power loss

I'm having trouble with my 2011 Citroen Ccrosser diesel, about 194020 km on the clock. Engine power is significantly reduced, and the check engine light is constantly on. It runs really rough, jerks when I accelerate, and sometimes stalls when idling. I've checked the air filter and it seems ok. Could it be the mass airflow sensor or maybe the throttle body? Any ideas?

Sounds rough! I had something similar with my Ccrosser. Is it throwing any codes related to mixture preparation? Could be a defective injector. A 'rich mixture' usually means there's too much fuel compared to air. Don't mess with the spark plugs, that's only for gasoline engines.

Thanks for the quick reply! Yes, the error code does indicate a mixture preparation error. What exactly did you do to fix your Ccrosser? Did you try cleaning the oxygen sensor or anything like that before getting it properly fixed?

Nah, I didn't bother with the O2 sensor or anything like that. I took it straight to a workshop. They ran some diagnostics and confirmed it was a faulty injector valve. They replaced it, and the problem was sorted. Cost me around 515€, but it was worth it to get the car running smoothly again. Good luck!

Okay, thanks a lot for the info! I'll take it to a workshop to get the injection valves checked out. Hopefully, that's the issue and it won't cost me too much. I appreciate your help!
