Ccrosser fault memory lock

Thanks. I haven't monitored cranking voltage specifically. Which control units are most sensitive to ground issues in your experience?

In my case, the engine control unit (ECU) and the body control module (BCM) seemed particularly sensitive. A faulty ground to either caused all sorts of spurious errors, including the active memory lock. Given the cost of replacing modules, I would suggest a thorough check with a diagnostic tool at a workshop.

Workshop confirmed undervoltage was the cause. They cleared the memory lock and addressed a minor wiring issue. Total cost: 240€ Thanks.

I've encountered something similar with my Ccrosser. The active memory lock and associated error codes can be persistent. Have you checked the battery's overall health and charging system voltage? I'd be curious to know if you've monitored the voltage during engine cranking, as a significant voltage drop can trigger these kinds of issues. Also, ensure that all relevant control unit grounds are clean and properly secured to the chassis.
