Ccrosser IAT sensor issue

I own a 2013 Citroen Ccrosser with a gasoline engine. Recently, the check engine light illuminated, and I noticed a reduction in engine power accompanied by rough running. Diagnostic tool indicates an error related to the intake air temperature. Mileage is 47638 km. Could the IAT sensor be the culprit?

I also have a Ccrosser, and I had similar symptoms. DTC pointed towards IAT too. Did you check the temperature reading from the sensor using your diagnostic tool? Is it within the expected range?

Yes, I did check the temperature reading using the diagnostic tool. The readings appear erratic and often implausible, especially compared to the ambient temperature. Is this what you experienced before replacing the sensor?

Exactly! Erratic and implausible readings are a telltale sign. I'd bet on IAT sensor failure. Considering the symptoms and the diagnostic information, a sensor replacement seems inevitable. Take it to a workshop; they can confirm and replace it efficiently.

Thank you for the advice! I had the IAT sensor replaced at a workshop, and all the issues have been resolved. The final repair cost was 155€.
