Indeed, your description mirrors my present circumstances precisely. The effective range of the electronic key has diminished significantly, necessitating close proximity to the vehicle for operation. Could you provide further details regarding the particulars of your experience and the measures undertaken to rectify the problem?

Yep, sounds exactly like what I went through. It's almost certainly the key fob battery. I tried replacing it myself, but honestly, the tiny screws are a nightmare. Ended up just taking it to a workshop. They sorted it quick enough. Like changing the battery in a watch, but fiddlier.

I appreciate your counsel. Based on your experiences, I'll get a replacement battery for the electronic key ASAP. If that doesn't work, I'll get a qualified mechanic to diagnose it. Thanks!

Hey! Funny you should mention it – I had the exact same thing happen with my Ccrosser. Drove me nuts for a while! Does it feel like the range on the key fob has gone completely kaput? Like you have to be right next to the car for it to even think about working?
