Ccrosser Misfire Defective Injector

Hello, I'm experiencing combustion misfires in my 2011 Citroen Ccrosser with a gasoline engine (mileage: 204464 km). Symptoms include rough engine running, check engine light, jerking when accelerating and reduced engine power. Could a defective fuel injector be the cause?

I had similar symptoms on my Ccrosser. Rough idle and jerking under acceleration. Have you checked the fuel pump pressure or the ignition coils? A faulty fuel injector could definitely be the culprit, but those are usually more expensive than the other two. What is the engine's throttle response like?

Thanks for the tips. I haven't checked the fuel pump or ignition coils yet. The throttle response feels sluggish. Did you end up replacing the fuel injectors in your car?

Yes, it turned out to be a defective injector. The diagnostics pointed directly at it. If you're not comfortable testing the fuel system yourself, I'd suggest taking it to a workshop for a proper diagnosis to avoid unnecessary parts replacements.

Thanks for the advice. I took it to a workshop, and you were right, it was a defective injector. The repair cost 515€. Runs like new now!
