Ccrosser NOx Sensor Failure
Summary of the thread
A 2011 Citroen Ccrosser is experiencing a check engine light and NOx sensor failure, accompanied by an increase in exhaust fumes. The issue could be due to a faulty NOx sensor or a bad connection. Checking the cable and plug connection is suggested, but if the connection is fine and the error is stored in the memory, replacing the sensor might be necessary.

Thanks! Where exactly is the NOx sensor located? And yes, the error is definitely stored in the memory. Does that make a difference?

It's usually somewhere along the exhaust system. Being stored in the memory confirms the fault. If the connection looks okay, it might be the sensor itself. I had to take mine to a workshop in the end.

Okay, thanks! I checked the connections as best I could, but everything seems fine. I guess I'll take it to a workshop. They quoted me around 95€ for the sensor replacement, so hopefully, that fixes it!

I had something similar with my Ccrosser. Check the cable and plug connection to the NOx sensor itself. Could be a bad connection. Is the error stored in the memory?
