Ccrosser oil level sensor fault

I'm having a head-scratcher with my 2012 Citroen Ccrosser, diesel engine. The mileage is 97895 km. I keep getting an error message on the speedometer, and the error memory is storing a fault related to the oil level sensor, or its signal. The warning light pops up, and sometimes the oil pressure warning lamp even lights up. I've had a quick look and can't see anything obvious, but my knowledge is limited! Any ideas?

I had something similar with my Ccrosser. Check the cable and plug connection to the oil level sensor. That was the cause in my case.

Thanks! Where exactly is that located? I'm not super familiar with all the engine components.

It's at the bottom of the engine. Honestly, if you're not sure, it might be best to get a workshop to take a look. Could save you from causing more problems!

Thanks a lot for the tip. I had a mechanic check the cable and plug connection to the oil level sensor, like you suggested, and you were spot on! The cable was defective. Repair cost me 95€, but at least it's fixed. Thanks again!
