Ccrosser Parking Aid Fault

My 2012 Citroen Ccrosser diesel has a 'Parking aid fault' with 86747 km. The parking assistant is non-functional, and an error is stored. I think it might be a defective cable or plug. Has anyone else had this with their rearview camera, parking assist, blind spot sensors, radar sensors or ultrasonic sensors?

I recall something similar with my Ccrosser, though I can't confirm if it's the same. Parking assistant failure and a stored error code sound familiar. Before complex diagnostics, inspect all wiring and connectors, especially near the sensors, as they're exposed and may corrode. Have you checked the parking aid fuse?

Thanks for the quick reply. I'll check the fuse. Can you say where the connectors were most problematic in your case? Any insights would help.

The main issue was a corroded connector near a rear parking sensor. I can't guarantee it's the same, but check all connectors there. Electrical issues can be unpredictable, so I'd suggest a trusted workshop.

Thanks for the guidance. I took it to a workshop. They found a defective connector, and the 95€ repair fixed the parking aid. Your insights helped a lot.
