Thanks for the quick reply! Yes, the idle is a bit rough too. I haven't checked the oxygen sensor specifically, but I did replace the air filter recently. When you had this issue, did the check engine light come on immediately, or did it take some time?

In my case, the check engine light was intermittent at first, then became constant. Given your symptoms and the rough idle, it really sounds like a similar exhaust issue. I'd suggest getting it checked out at a workshop; they can properly diagnose the leak and see if it's affecting the engine's performance. Could also be the timing belt, but I would not touch it myself. I don't know if it's your case, but a faulty exhaust system may affect the engine misfire.

Thanks a lot for the advice! I took it to the workshop, and it turned out to be a leak in the exhaust system, as suspected. Repair cost was 265€. Replacing the exhaust fixed the uneven running and jerking. Really appreciate your help!

Hey, I had a similar issue with my Ccrosser. Does it also have a rough idle? Have you checked the air filter and the oxygen sensor? It could be a misfire, potentially caused by a faulty sensor or something exhaust-related, as you suspect.
