Celica cruise control malfunction

Hey, my 2004 Toyota Celica with a gasoline engine has a cruise control problem. It just stopped working. The error memory has a stored error related to it. I suspect a defective cable or plug connection. Anyone seen this before?

I had a similar issue with my Celica. Check the fuse box first, it's the easiest thing to do. Also, give the pedal switch a look. Was the error code specific?

Thanks! By pedal switch do you mean the one at the brake pedal? And how specific do you mean regarding the error code?

Yep, the brake pedal switch. Sorry, I don't remember the exact code. If you aren't sure, go to a workshop.

Thanks for the advice! It turned out to be a defective cable connection. The repair cost me 95€. Problem solved.
