Celica exhaust flap issue

My 2002 Toyota Celica with a gasoline engine has 45812 km. The exhaust flaps aren't working right, and the error memory shows a message. The exhaust is louder than usual, and the engine is noisy after a cold start. I think the exhaust flap is defective.

Hey, I had similar symptoms on my Celica. Loud exhaust, especially when cold. Suspect your flap actuator. Check for exhaust blockage too.

Thanks for the advice. I had the car inspected at a workshop, and they confirmed a defective exhaust flap. The repair was 190€, including parts and labor. It's fixed now.
