Celica Tire Pressure Warning
Summary of the thread
A 2004 Toyota Celica owner experienced a tire pressure warning light and speedometer error despite all tires being properly inflated. The issue was suspected to be related to a faulty tire pressure sensor. After checking the spare tire and ruling it out, it was suggested that a dead sensor battery in one of the main tires could be the cause. The owner confirmed this diagnosis at a shop, where the sensor was replaced, resolving the issue.

Thanks! I appreciate the spare tire suggestion. But my Celica doesn't have a sensor in the spare. Any other ideas what could cause the error?

Gotcha. If your spare doesn't have a sensor, it's probably one of the main tire sensors failing. Usually, that means the sensor battery is dead. I'd take it to a shop to diagnose and replace the bad sensor. That's probably the quickest fix.

Thanks for the advice! I took it to a shop, and you were right, it was a dead sensor battery in one of the tires. Replaced the sensor, and the error's gone. Cost me 280€, but it's fixed!

I had something similar happen with my Opel Astra. Tire pressure light was on even after I checked the pressure. Did you check the spare tire's pressure? My spare had a faulty sensor that triggered the warning.
