Charge Air Temperature Sensor Issue
Summary of the thread
A 2020 Mercedes B Klasse Hybrid experienced a charge air temperature sensor fault, leading to a check engine light, reduced power, and unusual noises during acceleration. The issue was confirmed by error memory, pointing to the sensor. A suggestion was made to inspect the cable and plug connection to the sensor, which was found to be the problem. The issue was resolved by replacing a defective cable at a workshop.

Okay, I appreciate the suggestion. When you say 'similar', was it the exact same air sensor error, and did you experience the same symptoms with the whistling noise?

Yeah, it was the charge sensor, and the hissing was there too. I didn't mess with it myself. I took it to the workshop, and they sorted it. Probably best to do the same.

Thanks for confirming. I did check the connections as you suggested, but no luck. I took it to the shop, and you were spot on. It turns out it was a defective cable. 95€ later, all sorted.

Sounds familiar. I had something similar with my Mercedes B Klasse. I'd check the cable and plug connection to the engine sensor first. Could be a simple fix.
