Hi, thanks for your advice. It's a shame you had such a hassle too, but I'm glad to hear it wasn't anything too bad. I was unsure whether it could be the AdBlue tank, but you've already experienced this and in your car it was the DPF and a sensor. I'll take it up with the mechanic then. Do you happen to remember what you paid for the repair and whether anything else has come up since then? Thank you!

Hi, that's really helpful to know and reassures me a little. I will definitely make an appointment with the mechanic for these issues and discuss the possible problems with my car. Hopefully my car won't cause any more trouble then. It's good to know that it shouldn't be too expensive compared to what I was thinking. Thanks again for your help and advice. It's great to know you have the experiences of other car owners to fall back on. Hope I can help next time. Take care!

Hi, what was it for you?
Hello, What problem do you have exactly? We might be able to help you here ;)

Hello, I had similar problems with my 2019 BMW 3 Series. The check engine light was also flashing and there were problems with the DPF regeneration. I was also at a loss at first, but then went to the workshop. It turned out that the Ad-Blue tank was perfectly fine. So your problem could be more to do with the DPF or possibly a sensor. In my case, the DPF had to be cleaned and a sensor replaced. It was a serious issue, but not as bad as I originally thought. So don't panic, best to take your car to an experienced mechanic who ideally specializes in BMW. Hope this helps you a bit. Good luck!
