Chevrolet Beat Engine Power Loss
Summary of the thread
A 2019 Chevrolet Beat owner is experiencing engine power loss and rough running, with the check engine light on. A diagnostic tool indicated a faulty intake air temperature (IAT) sensor as the potential cause. Another individual with a similar issue confirmed that replacing the IAT sensor resolved the problem. The suggested solution is to have the sensor checked and replaced by a professional workshop.

Yes, the diagnostic tool indicated a defective intake air temperature sensor. Could you share more details about your experience? Was it the same sensor, and what did you do to fix it?

Yep, same issue, same sensor. To be honest, I'm not mechanically gifted, so I took it straight to a workshop. They confirmed it was the intake air temperature sensor and replaced it. Problem solved! I'd suggest you do the same.

Thank you for sharing your experience! I appreciate the advice. I will take it to a trusted workshop and have them check the intake air temperature sensor. I will let you know the resolution. It was exactly the IAT sensor. Cost me 155€ including diagnostics.

Hey, I had something similar happen on my Beat. I also got the check engine light and the engine was running rough. Did the diagnostic tool specifically point to the intake air temperature sensor?
