Chevrolet Express Audio System Failure
Summary of the thread
The audio system in a 2021 Chevrolet Express failed, with no sound output despite the display functioning. Possible causes include issues with the volume control, audio connectivity, or the car speakers themselves. A similar problem in another vehicle was due to a defective amplifier. The solution involved professional diagnosis, revealing a failed bass speaker, which was repaired at a cost.

Yeah, I checked the volume and even tried connecting my phone via Bluetooth, but still nothing. Absolutely no audio output at all. Could it be something with the car speakers themselves?

It could be the speakers, yes. In my case, with the Volvo, it ended up being a defective amplifier that killed the audio. I suggest you get it checked by a professional, it may be difficult to find what the cause is yourself.

Thanks for the advice. I took it to a workshop, and you were right! It was the bass speaker that had failed. Repair cost was 280€. I appreciate the help!

That's a pain. I had a similar issue with my 2018 Volvo XC60. No audio whatsoever. Did you check the basics, like the volume control and the audio connectivity in the settings? Sometimes it's the simplest thing.
