I'm incredibly frustrated! The audio system in my 2021 Chevrolet Express (gasoline engine) has completely died. I've got 122502 km on it. There's absolutely no sound coming out, like radio silence, but the display works. What could be causing this?

That's a pain. I had a similar issue with my 2018 Volvo XC60. No audio whatsoever. Did you check the basics, like the volume control and the audio connectivity in the settings? Sometimes it's the simplest thing.

Yeah, I checked the volume and even tried connecting my phone via Bluetooth, but still nothing. Absolutely no audio output at all. Could it be something with the car speakers themselves?

It could be the speakers, yes. In my case, with the Volvo, it ended up being a defective amplifier that killed the audio. I suggest you get it checked by a professional, it may be difficult to find what the cause is yourself.
