Chevrolet Groove Crankshaft Sensor Issue

I haven't noticed any obvious misfiring, but the engine definitely feels less smooth. I didn't check the wiring yet, as I wasn't sure where to start. Could you tell me where to find the crank sensor and how to check the wiring? Is it easy to get to?

On my Groove, the crank sensor was located near the lower front of the engine, close to the crankshaft pulley. Access isn't great without lifting the car. Honestly, given the symptoms and the error code, I'd suggest getting it checked by a professional. A defective crank sensor aligns with everything. It could save you time and prevent further issues.

I took your advice and brought it to a workshop. Turns out, the crankshaft sensor was indeed defective. The repair cost me 340€, but the car is running smoothly again. I really appreciate your help!

I once had a similar issue with my Groove. The symptoms you describe sound awfully familiar. Was there any misfiring, even occasional? In my case, the error code also pointed to a synchronization problem between the crankshaft and camshaft. Did you check the wiring to the sensor?
