Summary of the thread
A 2023 Chevrolet Groove with a gasoline engine is experiencing a check engine light and sluggish performance, with a diagnostic code indicating an intake air temperature (IAT) sensor fault. The temperature readings are erratic, suggesting a faulty sensor. Replacing the IAT sensor resolved the issue, restoring normal engine performance.

Exactly! The temperature reading seems totally off. It jumps around randomly, even when the engine's been sitting overnight. Did replacing the sensor fix it for you then?

Yep, that was it. Though with those symptoms I'd get it checked at a shop. Could be an easy fix with the sensor, but maybe some wiring or something else is going on? Good luck!

Thanks for confirming! I appreciate the help. I'll take it to the shop and mention what you said. It was indeed the intake air temperature sensor. Replaced it, and everything is back to normal. Cost me 155€, but worth it to have my Groove running smoothly again!

Whoa, that sounds familiar! I've got a Chevy Groove myself (though an older one), and I had similar symptoms a while back. Was the temperature reading on yours all over the place? Like, super high or super low even when the engine was cold?
