Chevrolet Move Fault Code Issue
Summary of the thread
A 2008 Chevrolet Move was experiencing fault codes and error messages on the infotainment system and speedometer at 144,568 km. The issue was suspected to be related to incorrect parameters set in the ECU. After confirming the coding issue through error memory scanning, a workshop visit resolved the problem by updating the software and re-coding the vehicle, eliminating the error messages.

Yep, I've scanned the error memory, and it confirms the coding issue. I was hoping to find someone who's gone through a similar experience and potentially knows which module needs some code massaging. The car itself seems to be driving fine, except for the distracting error messages blaring at me from every digital screen.

Okay, that's beyond my expertise. I'd advise taking it to a workshop with the proper diagnostic tools and coding equipment. Messing with the ECU without knowing what you're doing can cause even bigger problems, trust me.

Thanks for the input! Workshop visit confirmed the incorrect vehicle coding was the culprit. New software, re-coded, and back on the road for the grand total of 360€. Now I can finally enjoy the drive without the annoying messages.

I had a similar issue with my Move. The error messages and the fault codes were a real headache. Did you try reading the fault code? Perhaps it can provide a clue. Is the car running normally otherwise?
