Chevrolet Move Incorrect Temperature and Check Engine Light

My 2022 Chevrolet Move with a gasoline engine is exhibiting some unusual behavior. The instrument cluster displays incorrect temperatures, the check engine light is illuminated, and the engine takes a long time to warm up (mileage: 115143 km). Suspecting a cooling issue, I checked for obvious radiator blockages but found none. I read it could be related to a defective fuse for the cooling grille, but I am unsure where to locate it. Any advice?

I had similar symptoms with my Move. Check if your cooling grille is restricted; it might not be immediately visible. Is your fuel consumption higher than normal?

Fuel consumption seems normal. How exactly did you determine if your cooling grille was restricted? Was it a visual inspection or something else?

In my case, the grille's mechanism was faulty. Although it appeared open, it wasn't functioning correctly, leading to restricted airflow. A workshop visit confirmed this. I suggest you have it professionally diagnosed.

Thank you for the insight. I took it to a workshop, and it turns out a fuse related to the cooling grille was indeed defective, resulting in the described symptoms. Repair cost was 52€. Problem solved.
