Chevrolet N300 heater blowing cool air

Hi, I've got a 2012 Chevrolet N300 with a gasoline engine, and the heater is blowing out cool air. I've also got an error code stored. I'm guessing it's the water valve, and maybe a bad connection? Anyone else had this?

Summary of the thread

A 2012 Chevrolet N300 is experiencing an issue where the heater is blowing cool air, and an error code is present. The suspected cause is a faulty water valve or a bad connection, particularly with the valve cable and plug. A similar case was resolved by addressing a faulty cable connection near the firewall, suggesting that professional inspection and repair might be necessary.

Hey, I had a similar issue with my N300. My heating was rubbish and it turned out to be the water valve. Have you checked the valve cable and plug? Apparently, that's a common cause.

Thanks! Where is the water valve located? Is it easy to get to the cable and plug to check?

On mine, it was near the firewall, behind the engine. I'm no mechanic, so I just took it to a workshop. Ended up being a faulty cable connection like I thought. Cost me about 95€ to fix. Might be worth getting it checked out properly.

Okay, thanks for the info! I'll check the location and see if I can spot anything obvious, but I'll probably just take it in to get sorted then. Appreciate the help!
