My 2023 Chevrolet N400 with a gasoline engine is throwing some weird codes. Getting reduced engine power, speedo warning light, and struggles to start. Lights are dim too. Error memory points to a faulty generator. At 235994 km, seems premature. Anyone else experience this?

Sounds familiar. I had similar issues with my N400. Weak lights, hard starts... Charging system was all over the place. Did you check the voltage?

Yeah, voltage is fluctuating like crazy. Definitely points to the generator. Was it a pain to replace? Anything else I should check before I drop nearly a grand on this?

Nah, it's not too bad. Access is a bit tight, but straightforward swap. But yeah, I'd say take it to a workshop. I had to replace mine and after that all errors were gone.
