Chevrolet Spin central locking failure
Summary of the thread
The central locking system of a 2012 Chevrolet Spin diesel failed, preventing the locking or unlocking of doors. The initial suspicion was a faulty door contact signal, but after checking the fuses, they appeared fine. The issue was ultimately identified as a defective plug connection in the door, which was resolved by a workshop.

You mean the door latch mechanism inside the door? What exactly was the problem with yours? Was it an electrical issue?

Yeah, the door latch. Honestly, I didn't mess with it too much myself. Took it straight to the shop. They said something about a faulty sensor inside. Probably best to get it checked out professionally.

Thanks for the input. Turns out it was indeed a defective plug connection in the door. Workshop sorted it for 95€. Appreciate the advice.

I had a similar issue with my Spin. Couldn't lock the doors either. Did you check the door latch itself?
