Chevrolet Spin Ignition Coil Defect
Summary of the thread
A 2023 Chevrolet Spin owner reported issues such as rough engine running, stalling at idle, the check engine light illuminating, and jerking during acceleration, suspecting a defective ignition coil. The symptoms were confirmed by another individual who had experienced a similar issue with a different vehicle, suggesting a defective plug connection could be the cause. Following this advice, the owner had the vehicle inspected, confirming a defective ignition coil, which was then repaired, resolving the problem.

Could you elaborate on the particulars of the issue you encountered with your Opel Corsa? I am curious whether my suspicion is correct.

Certainly. In my case, the defective plug connection of the component of an ignition coil caused a misfire. I advise you to have the ignition system checked in a workshop.

Thank you for the information. Following your advice, I had the vehicle inspected. The diagnosis confirmed a defective ignition coil. Repair cost came to 95€. The problem is now resolved.

The symptoms do align with a potential ignition coil issue. I recall a similar problem with my previous Opel Corsa. It exhibited comparable symptoms.
