CHR AC Failure
Summary of the thread
A 2022 Toyota CHR with 36,910 km has an AC issue where it has stopped cooling and doesn't switch on. The suspected cause is an individual valve failure. A suggestion was made to first check the AC relay and pressure switch, as these are common and easy checks. If these components are functioning properly, a visit to a workshop is recommended for further diagnosis and repair.

Thanks for the tip. No strange noises that I noticed. Where exactly is the AC relay located? Is it easy to get to?

On mine, it was in the main fuse box under the hood, there should be a diagram on the lid. If that's fine, and the pressure switch is okay too, it's probably those valves you mentioned. Time for a workshop visit, unfortunately. My repair cost was around 1000€.

I had a similar issue with my CHR. Check the AC relay and pressure switch first – easy checks. Were there any unusual noises from the compressor before it went completely?
