CHR electrical malfunctions

My 2020 Toyota CHR gasoline is throwing a bunch of errors. The error memory is full, I'm getting electrical malfunctions, and the navigation is dead! The garage said it's likely a control unit programming issue. Anyone seen anything like this before? Quoted 240€ for a fix!

Summary of the thread

A 2020 Toyota CHR is experiencing multiple electrical malfunctions, including a full error memory and non-functional navigation. The issue is suspected to be related to a control unit programming problem. A solution involves performing a full system reflash by a specialized shop, which may resolve the errors and restore functionality.

Sounds familiar. I've got a CHR too and had similar gremlins. Did they mention anything about software implausibility? Have you tried just a basic OBD2 scan to see if anything clears?

Software implausibility, yeah, that rings a bell. The mechanic mentioned something like that. OBD2 scan – I have a basic reader, but it just throws a generic error code. Did yours do the same before you got it sorted?

Yep, generic code then total system meltdown. Get it to someone who can do a proper software recalibration. Could save you headaches down the road.

Booked it in with a shop that specializes in Toyotas. They're doing a full system reflash. Hoping it sorts everything out!
