Software implausibility, yeah, that rings a bell. The mechanic mentioned something like that. OBD2 scan – I have a basic reader, but it just throws a generic error code. Did yours do the same before you got it sorted?

Yep, generic code then total system meltdown. Get it to someone who can do a proper software recalibration. Could save you headaches down the road.

Booked it in with a shop that specializes in Toyotas. They're doing a full system reflash. Hoping it sorts everything out!

Sounds familiar. I've got a CHR too and had similar gremlins. Did they mention anything about software implausibility? Have you tried just a basic OBD2 scan to see if anything clears?
