CHR hybrid engine issues

Sounds familiar... I have a CHR as well, and those symptoms ring a bell. Did you by any chance check the crankcase ventilation valve? Had similar issues, and it turned out to be a defective valve. Is your fuel consumption higher than normal?

Crankcase ventilation valve, huh? Where exactly IS that thing located, and is it a pain to get to? How much did you end up paying for the repair?

It's a bit of a hassle to reach without the right tools, honestly. I wouldn't recommend messing with it yourself unless you know what you're doing. My workshop said the crankcase ventilation was defective and replaced it, cost me around 360€. Better have it checked before your emissions go through the roof!

Thanks! I booked an appointment with my mechanic today. Sounds like that crankcase ventilation valve is the culprit. Fingers crossed it's a simple fix and doesn't cost me an arm and a leg! Will keep you posted.
