CHR Hybrid weak battery and flickering lights
Summary of the thread
A 2022 Toyota CHR Hybrid with 118,130 km is experiencing weak battery starts and flickering lights. Thanks for the quick response! When you say 'faulty sensor', are you referring to the battery sensor specifically? And were your symptoms identical – weak starts and flickering lights?

Yes, the battery sensor. The lights weren't super consistent, but the weak starts were definitely there. I'd suggest getting it checked out at a workshop; they can properly diagnose the sensor's health.

Appreciate the advice. I took it to the workshop and you were spot on! It was indeed a defective battery sensor. The replacement and labor cost 315€. Thanks again for pointing me in the right direction!

I have a CHR Hybrid too. I had something similar happen a while back. Have you checked the battery charge? I thought mine was a bigger issue, but it turned out to be a faulty sensor giving incorrect readings.
