Thanks for the quick reply! Accelerator pedal module, huh? I hadn't thought of that. Is that a common issue? And did your check engine light come on too?

Yes, the check engine light illuminated on my dashboard as well, and the reduced power was noticeable. Considering the symptoms you are experiencing and given my previous experience, it would be prudent to consult a qualified mechanic for a thorough inspection. The diagnostics might point to a defective throttle valve due to a faulty accelerator pedal module, requiring component replacement. In my case the entire module was changed. Expected repair cost to be around 265€.

Okay, thanks for the advice. I'll get it to the shop asap. It does indeed look like the accelerator pedal was faulty. They're replacing it for 265€.

I had a similar problem with my CHR. Symptoms sound familiar. Have you checked the accelerator pedal module? A defective electronic module or the sensor within the accelerator pedal assembly itself can cause these issues. It might be worth investigating the air flow as well. A diagnostic check should provide you with the error code.
