Honestly, I fiddled with everything! Eventually, I just took it in. They said something about a software glitch and refreshed it. Cost about 45€. Might be worth having them take a look.

That's interesting. I have a CHR too, although I can't remember what year. I had something similar happen a while back. Have you tried basic troubleshooting, like checking the Bluetooth settings on both your phone and the car's infotainment system? Maybe even a factory reset of the infotainment?
