Where exactly is the flasher relay located on this model? Is it easy to get to?

It could be the relay, but on these, a defective cable or plug connection is way more likely, especially with those symptoms. Honestly, for something electrical like that, a workshop visit is your best bet. I’d say it would amount to 95€.

Sounds like a bad connection somewhere. These things are often the result of faulty plugs. Have you checked the flasher relay? Is it possibly clicking irregularly or not at all?
