CHR vibrating brake pedal

Help! My 2017 Toyota CHR (gasoline engine) is giving me seriously weird brake pedal feedback. It's like... vibrating? The car has 105656 km on it. I was poking around online and saw something about undervoltage messing with the brake system. Could that be it?

Vibrating brake pedal... interesting. Undervoltage could be a factor, especially with the CHR's electronic systems. Have you noticed any other electrical issues? Dimming lights, slow starting, anything like that? How does the pedal feel under normal braking?

No other electrical weirdness that I've noticed. Normal braking feels okay-ish, maybe a little spongy, but the vibrating thing is mostly when I'm slowing down more firmly. Any thoughts on what parts might be involved? Like, are we talking metal brakes themselves or brake pads?

Spongy and vibrating... the sponginess suggests air in the hydraulic brake lines, but the vibration is unusual. It could be related to undervoltage affecting the ABS module or even the brake calipers themselves if they are electronically assisted. It's hard to say for sure without a proper diagnosis. It sounds like the system has multiple issues. Honestly, I'd recommend taking it to a workshop. Better safe than sorry with brakes.

Yeah, you're right. I bit the bullet and took it in. Turns out, the brake pads were pretty much GONE and there was something funky with the ABS system throwing everything off. Cost me 240€, but at least I can stop now! Thanks for the advice!
