CHR Windshield Wipers Failure

My 2023 Toyota CHR with a gasoline engine has about 98k kilometers. Recently, the windshield wipers stopped working. I've checked the fuses and they seem fine. There's an error stored, but I can't read it. Any ideas on what else to check before a shop?

Honestly, I can't remember the exact location without looking it up. It's somewhere near the steering column, I believe. Based on your comfort level and the error code, it's probably best to just take it to a shop. I ended up doing that and it saved me a lot of hassle.

Thanks, I appreciate the advice. I took it to a mechanic, and you were right, it needed a repair. Turns out, it was a defective cable/plug connection. The grand total was 95€.
