Cima Climate Control Failure
Summary of the thread
The climate control panel of a 2021 Nissan Cima hybrid stopped working, showing an error, with weak heating and non-functional AC. A potential cause could be a bad cable or plug, specifically within the wiring harness and connectors behind the climate control panel or near the blower motor. A similar issue was resolved by checking these connections, and a professional diagnostic assessment was recommended to accurately identify and fix the problem, which was confirmed to be a faulty electrical connector.

Thanks! Could you tell me where the wiring harness and connectors are that you checked? Were some connectors more likely to be loose or corroded? Also, do you remember the error codes you saw?

I don't recall the error codes, but I focused on the connectors behind the climate control panel and near the blower motor. They were easiest to reach. A workshop quoted me 95€ for the repair, so I'd suggest a professional diagnostic assessment. It could save time and frustration, and they can pinpoint the faulty connection.

Thanks for the help! I took it to a workshop, and it was a bad electrical connector in the climate control wiring harness, just like you said. The repair cost was about what you mentioned. Thanks again!

Sounds familiar. I drive a Cima too. I had similar climate control issues: error codes, weak heat, and no AC. Did you check the wiring harness and connectors for the climate control unit? A loose connection caused my problem.
