Cima incorrect fuel composition error
Summary of the thread
A 2019 Nissan Cima hybrid experienced a check engine light and stalling at idle, with an error indicating incorrect fuel composition. The likely cause was identified as a defective cable or plug connection. After discussion, it was confirmed that a defective plug connection related to the fuel system was indeed the issue, and replacing the connector resolved the problem.

Fuel trim looks normal. Using premium fuel. O2 sensor values seem consistent. Could a defective plug connection really cause this? The error points to a specific component.

A defective plug connection can absolutely cause this, especially if it's related to the fuel injectors or the fuel composition sensor. Though rare, the ECU may interpret the lack of signal as an incorrect value. But since you say you are getting a value, it is most likely a wrong value. Given the symptoms and stored error, I'd take it to a workshop to check the electrical connections and the sensor itself.

Thanks. You were right. It was a defective plug connection as diagnosed. Replaced the connector; error's gone. Total cost 95€

Incorrect fuel composition errors can be tricky. I had a similar issue with my 2017 BMW 530e – same symptoms. Did you check the fuel trim values? A faulty O2 sensor can cause the ECU to miscalculate the fuel mixture, throwing that code. Also, what fuel quality are you using?
