Thanks! The error message doesn't specifically mention any of those components. It's a generic 'Parking aid malfunction' message. Do you recall if your error message was more specific, and if so, which component was at fault?

I can't remember the exact wording of the error message. Given your description, it sounds like it could still be a loose connection. If you are not comfortable checking the control module and all the related sensors, a workshop should be able to diagnose and fix it relatively quickly. If it's just a faulty connection, it should be a straightforward repair.

Appreciate the advice! I think I'll take it to a shop as you suggested. They quoted me around 95€ for diagnosis and repair, which seems reasonable. Hopefully, it is just a simple connection issue. Thanks again!

I have a Cima as well, and I did have a similar problem a while back. Was the error message related to the control module or perhaps one of the blind spot sensors? It could also be a problem with the proximity sensors or the rearview camera. I would check those first.
