Cima Tire Pressure Sensor Error

Hi, I have a 2005 Nissan Cima with a gasoline engine. I'm getting a 'Tire pressure too low' error message on the speedometer. I checked and the pressure seems fine, but the error persists and there's also an error stored in the memory. Any ideas?

Hey, I've had a similar issue with my Cima. The TPMS system can be quite sensitive. Have you checked all the tires, including the spare, even if they look okay? It might be a faulty sensor sending incorrect data. It’s worth checking the air valves too.

Thanks for the info. So, you think it's likely a sensor issue even if the tire pressures are actually correct? Is there any way to confirm this without going to a shop?

Yeah, that's what happened to me. All my tires were properly inflated, but one of the sensors had a dead battery. Unfortunately, you'll probably need a diagnostic tool to pinpoint the faulty sensor. The tool reads out the individual sensor data. A workshop visit will be inevitable, I'm afraid.

Okay, thanks for confirming. I'll take it to a workshop to get the sensors checked. They found out that the sensor battery was empty and the repair including replacing the sensor was 280€. Thanks again for your help!
